Alsatian Chestnut Honey (IGP) harvested by the Luttenbach Apiary. This monofloral honey, dark amber in color, is primarily made from chestnut blossoms and may contain a natural amount of honeydew. It is characterized by a pronounced flavor with woody and full-bodied notes, and a slight bitterness. It can be enjoyed on its own or used in cooking to enhance dishes, cheeses, or pastries.
