CANARD au Curry 950g DUPERRIER

This duck curry is a ready meal from Dupérier, an artisan preserver based in Souprosse, in the Landes, since 1947 according to its logo. The house also makes foie gras and other duck dishes in jars, such as duck basquaise or duck with onions; here, the duck wings, the upper part of the wing, are simmered in a yellow sauce of curry, coconut cream and ginger, with pieces of sweet potato and potato. The meat is of French origin, and the dish is made in Souprosse.

The 950 g glass jar shows the pieces of duck in their sauce. Reheat it over a low heat, in a casserole or in a bain-marie, and serve it, as Dupérier suggests on the label, with basmati rice. The vegetables are already in the sauce: rice or a few naan breads are all you need for a full meal for several people. Fresh coriander or a squeeze of lime at the table lifts the plate. For a quick lunch, leftovers also go into a wrap with a handful of young salad leaves.

Before opening, keep the jar in a dry place at room temperature, until the date shown on the lid. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and eat it soon. You will also find it on the shelves of our shop, 58 rue Tiquetonne, Paris.
